Luckily, we live most of the year in Baltimore, MD. We’ve thought for the almost four years we’ve lived here that “BMore” has gotta be the most underrated city in America (even travel + leisure thought so), with some of the best restaurants, bars, history, art, and hotels in the lower 48. Great hotels in particular, there are lots—which gives us a gaggle of great options for staycations when we get the chance.
Earlier this week we had a ‘workcation’ from the pool, we took the plunge and booked a night at the new Sagamore Pendry hotel in Fells Point. The SP is absolutely incredible, with a traditional-yet-eclectic aesthetic style.
From the house restaurant The Rec Pier Chop House to the infinity pool at the foot of BMore Harbor, everything about the SP is so retro chic and cool that it could easily rival any 5 star digs you could find in Manhattan, Philly, or Chicago. But, from the views on three sides of the harbor to the rad Maryland totems lining the entry hallway, this place is all-Baltimore and is a spot all Baltimorians should take pride in.
Check out some snaps we took below and if you get a chance, you will definitely not regret a night or ten or even just a quick drink at the SP. We love it and know you will too!
